A Recipe For Murder – Interval

I hope you’re enjoying the series ‘A Recipe For Murder’ starring the chefs of Food Network.

It’s time for an interval, grab some popcorn (heavily buttered if you are of the Paula Deen persuasion) spend a penny and settle back in for Part Four.

After Gingerfightback seemed a bit perturbed that Jamie Oliver may be killed off, I thought I would throw it open to a public vote.

Who should get their head hacked off with a cleaver?

Who will burn their tongue by not waiting for the creme brulee to cool down?

Who will find themselves being basted at half hourly intervals in a 250 degree oven and being left to rest for the final 10 minutes covered with a clean tea towel?

Cast your vote below  (if voting doesn’t go the way I planned I reserve the right to ignore it completely and do what the hell I like)

  1. Who voted Paula?! – I can get the most mileage out of her. In my honest opinion, or for the younger readers ‘IMHO’ I think Giada and Duff are pretty redundant in the story.

  2. Voted for Giada. Because I think her head is big enough to become it’s own entity – like the guy in HP Lovecrafts Re-Animator…

  3. I notice Alton Brown is suspiciously absent. Perhaps he’d been in the house some time before and set up a series of booby-traps.

    • I don’t know who he is…googgle search….I don’t know him, I think Food network UK is missing some of the stars, I read about one lady who apparently appears to be drunk all the time. We definitely don’t get her on our version, she sounds like fun.

      • Too bad — I like his show (Good Eats), although I don’t watch it regularly any more. He takes a somewhat scientific approach to cooking, occasionally involving some sort of weird improvised apparatus.

The only thing I’m sure of at this point is that Duff isn’t the killer. He wouldn’t kill the others off one by one; he’d make an exploding cake that would kill almost everyone by exploding and Paula by being cake.
